COURSE OFFERINGSSCHOOL POLICIES AND CALENDARSUMMER SEMESTERPROFESSIONAL STUDYTHEORY BEHIND PRIVATE STUDY

The Ridgewood Conservatory's Rock division, The Rock Shop, was created for students
(young and old) who want to play the music they download and enjoy.

Our goal is to help students master their instruments, write songs and develop their own sound,
while learning the fundamentals of true musicianship.

One-on-One Rockology
gives students of all levels the opportunity to take private lessons from a pro on guitar, drums, bass, keyboards and/or vocals.

Bandology 101 is designed to enable band members to fine-tune their sound by learning from a pro in eight two-hour band sessions. The first hour is spent in songwriting (and the theory behind it), and the second hour in rehearsal with other rockers — performing in concert at the end of the course. Students are invited to bring their own band, or join a group at the Rock Shop.
